Steps to Applying for CCIA Services

Caddo County Industrial Authority offers loan options with favorable terms and lower interest rates to businesses in Caddo County. Our mission is to promote economic development across all of Caddo County. 

Step 1: Utilize Business Resources

We encourage you to contact one or more of the following resources.

1. Contact your CPA or other business planning professional.

2. Contact Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Ft. Cobb, OK. Take advantage of their free business resources or enroll in their business classes. CKTC offers business advice, helps you find resources, and offers courses in conducting good business practice. If you have a general idea, have begun brainstorming on your business concept or are wanting to expand on your homebased business, this informational session is for you. It is critical to establish a firm foundation with a well-adapted business plan. This critical step just might be the “make it or break it” asset to your business. Join us for this information session and access to assistance in your business venture.

Step 2: Review Your Credit Profile

Lenders typically look at a business owner’s personal credit when evaluating a loan application.

Go to annualcreditreport.com to download your free annual credit report from one or more of the credit bureaus - TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. Results are not scored but will provide you a complete credit profile. Review report for accuracy.

Step 3: Build Your Business Plan

Develop a business plan with the help of your business resources.

The business plan should include:

  • Current Balance Sheet of your LLC, Corporation, or Trust, if applicable

  • Personal Net Worth Statement(s)

  • Historical financial data for the past 3 years for existing businesses (i.e. Tax returns, P&L statements)

  • Cash Flow Plan for the next 12 months, or longer if necessary

  • Projected Balance Sheet at the end of 12 months or plan period if longer

  • Loan need, including: Identification of Borrower; Loan amount; Length of loan; repayment plan.

  • Security to be pledged, including owner and estimated values.

Step 4: Prepare Your Presentation

Add the following to what you have:
Prepare a written narrative of your request. Items may include: purpose, qualifications, business description, market study, revenues and costs, personnel, contact information, loan need, repayment plan, and other pertinent information.

Step 5: Submit Your Request

When you are ready, contact us here and provide a phone number for us to contact you to schedule a drop off location for your request packet. We will review your application. Then, we will schedule a time to meet with you and the Board of Trustees to present and discuss your plan in-person.
